Marco Antonio "Tony" De La Fuente

EDINBURG - Marco Antonio "Tony" De La Fuente, 67, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 1, 2024, in McAllen. Mr. De La Fuente was preceded in death by his parents, Hector and Alicia De La Fuente; two siblings, Hector De La Fuente Jr., and Blanca Castillo. Marco was a proud veteran having served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. De La Fuente is survived by his wife, Teresa De La Fuente; two sons, Marco Antonio (Clarissa Arteaga) De La Fuente Jr., Jonathan Andrew (Ruby) De La Fuente; seven grandchildren, Amelia, Rosalie, Madelyn, Jonathan II, Hunter, Joaquin, Vivienne; four siblings, Oscar De La Fuente, Gloria Lozano, Nelly Garza, and Alma Cecilia Uribe; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen with full military honors. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
