Marcos Lucio Alvarez

MCALLEN - Marcos Lucio Alvarez, 89, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025. Mr. Lucio is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Lucio and Virginia Alvarez.

Mr. Lucio is survived by his 6 children, Diana, Marco Antonio, Elizabeth, Jose Luis, Maria De La Luz and Fernando; four siblings, Agedita Bocardo, Eudelia Trevino, Roberto Lucio, and Romanita Mejorado; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, family and friends.

Mr. Lucio came to accept Our Lord Jesus Christ on June 21, 2025.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. chapel service Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at La Pieda Cemetery in Mcallen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
