Maria L. De Luna

Maria Lourdes De Luna, of Pharr, Texas, entered into eternal glory and was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on September 9, 2026. She finished her earthly race beautifully and transitioned into heaven, leaving behind a legacy of pure, unconditional love.

Lourdes lived her life as a reflection of God’s grace. She completely and selflessly devoted her life to nurturing, protecting, and loving her children and her grandchildren, who were her entire universe. She was a woman of profound kindness, a safe space for everyone who knew her, and a constant cheerleader to her family. Her warmth and generosity touched the hearts of everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

Mrs. De Luna was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Rodriguez and Josefina Mireles, and sister, Eloisa "Locha" Rodriguez.

She is survived by her three children: Ricardo "Rico" (Damaris) De Luna, Roberto Alexis (Monica Acevedo) De Luna, and Sophia Anissa De Luna; her four cherished grandchildren: Olivia De Luna, Nicolas De Luna, Omar C. Alvarez, and Mason M. Alvarez; and a beloved community of family and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
