Mrs. Garcia is survived by her two children, Ivana (Carlos Sanchez) Garcia, and Rolando (Nubia Veliz) Zapata; six grandchildren, Carlos, Alexis, Matthew, Yisel, Rolando and Yailen.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
