Mrs. Torres is survived by her 4 children, Alejandro O. (Rossy) Torres , Ruth E. (Mario) Arteaga, Josue G. (Lupita) Torres and Sarai (Jose) Hernandez; 9 grandchildren, Aseneth Schoeller, Marely Burkart, Omar Torres, Lesllye Salazar, Obed Torres, Jazzel Guerrero, Mario Arteaga Jr., Mariam Torres and Galhilea Torres; 4 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Mario Guadalupe Montemayor and Leo Montemayor; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
