Maria Flores

MCALLEN - Maria Flores, 86, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday June 17, 2025, in McAllen. Mrs. Flores was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Flores; Mateo and Luciana Benavidez; three children, Pedro Flores, Catalina Flores and Teresa Flores; two grandchildren, Jesus Rodriguez Jr. and Imelda Rodriguez.

Mrs. Flores is survived by her ten children, Ancelmo (Maria) Flores, Romana (Pedro) Rodriguez, Guadalupe (Nemoria) Flores, Juana (Gerardo) Villarreal, Herminia Flores, Martin (Graciela) Flores, Lucas (Maricela) Flores, Gloria (Jaime) Carmona, Marina (Mario) Flores-Guzman and Mariano Flores; 38 grandchildren, Elida, Mayra, Ancelmo, Alejandra, Alejandro, Maria A., Griselda, Norma, Yessica, Magali, Adrian, Gilberto, Esmeralda, Rita, Pedro A., Juan G., Janeth S., Mario A., Jose H., Francisco J., Angie, Pedro, Guillerma, Juan J., Rubie, Gladys, Martin, Aimee, Aide, Christian, Lucas Jr., Carlos, Pedro, Salvador Jr., Jason, Autri P., Allie E. and Johnny; 62 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday June 23, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday June 24, 2025, at Capilla San Jose in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
