MARIA SYLVIA GONZALEZ MCALLEN - Maria Sylvia Gonzalez entered eternal rest on December 12, 2020, in Mcallen. Mrs. Gonzalez preceded in death by her father Vidal Gonzalez; siblings Luis Manuel Gonzalez, and Jose Luis Gonzalez; grandmother Margarita O. Mendez; granddaughter Jasmine Marie Ortiz. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her children, Yvette (Mariano) Villarreal, Jannelle (Juan) Villarreal, Mark A. (Jamie) Munoz., Debra L. (Luis) Ortiz, Ashley M. (Francisco) Leal, and Selina (Noe) Ponce; her mother, Maria Irma Gutierrez; four siblings, Irene (Juan) Navarro, Herlinda Hernandez, Lucy Gutierrez, and Jannette Ramirez; 33 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a 2 p.m. rosary on Friday, December 18, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
