MARIA MARGARITA GUZMAN

EDINBURG - Maria Margarita Guzman, 72, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Edinburg. Mrs. Guzman was preceded in death by her two children, Maria Teresa Guzman and Enrique Guzman; her parents, Merced and Maria Isabel Guzman.

Mrs. Guzman is survived by her husband, Asuncion Guzman Sr.; eight children, Roberto (Julia) Guzman, Veronica (Raul) Balderas, Asuncion (Melba) Guzman Jr., Gerardo Guzman, Alma Delia (Mario) Guerra, Maria De Jesus (Arturo) Esparza, Benito Guzman, and Gregorio (Marilu) Guzman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023, and 3 p.m. to  5 p.m. with a 5 p.m. Celebration of Life Service, Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
