Maria Irma Guzman

WESLACO - Maria Irma Guzman, 78, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Weslaco. Mrs. Guzman was born on September 26,1945 in La Reforma, TX to Juan and Eluteria Longoria and was a long time resident of Weslaco, Tx.  Mrs Guzman preceded in death by her husband, Reyes Guzman; a son-in-law, Christopher Herrera; seven siblings, Maria Longoria, Olga Longoria, Hilda Longoria, Luciano Longoria, Manuela Longoria, Juan Longoria, and Gloria Longoria.

Mrs. Guzman is survived by her seven children, Diana Herrera, Belinda (Larry) Browning, Bernie (Ernie) Sepulveda, Rudy (Mari) Guzman, Irene (Fred) Gonzalez, John Guzman, and Lori Guzman; numerous grandchildren, great-grand children and a nephew. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, June 17, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
