Maria De Consuelo Olivarez

EDINBURG- Maria Del Consuelo Olivarez, 74, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Mrs. Olivarez was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Olivarez; two daughters, Hilda Olivarez and Connie "Wina" Olivarez; parents, Justo Rodriguez and Maria Del Consuelo; three brothers, Manuel, Agustin and Jaime Rodriguez. Mrs. Olivarez is survived by her son, Edwin (Elizabeth) Olivarez Jr.; 12 grandchildren; five siblings, Socorro (Tony) Castillo, Josie Gonzalez, Olga (Ernest) Rodriguez, David (Kathy) Rodriguez and Esther (Michael) Rodriguez; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a 2 p.m. prayer service, Friday, October 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
