Edinburg, TX- Maria Magdalena Ramirez, 45, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on July 9, 1969 to Genoveva Zamora Esparza and Rafael Rincon Charles in Jame, Coahuila. She is preceded in death by her father; Rafael Rincon Charles and her mother and father in law; Alfonso and Betty Ramirez. She is survived by her loving family; her devoted husband of 25 years; Daniel R. Ramirez Sr. of Edinburg, TX; mother; Genoveva Zamora Esparza of Jame, Coah.; sons; Daniel, Alex and Isaac Ramirez all of Edinburg, TX; daughter, Anna Ruth Ramirez of Edinburg, TX; brothers, Josue Reyes Zamora of Saltillo, Coah., Saul Rincon Zamora of Reynosa, Tamp., Marco Antonio Rincon Zamora of Saltillo, Coah. and Noe Rincon Zamora of Saltillo, Coah.; sister, Noemi Rincon Zamora of Saltillo, Coah.; two grandchildren, Alina and Jonathan Ramirez of Edinburg, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Maria worked in the Child Nutrition Program at Escandon Elementary where she was employed for 14 years. Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a religious service at 7 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg, TX. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg, TX. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, TX. The Ramirez Family have entrusted all funeral services to the care of Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg, TX.
