Maria Antonia Reynoso

MCALLEN, Maria Antonia Reynoso, 89, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on May 14, 1937, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, and was raised in Miguel Alemán, Tamaulipas Mexico.

Maria Antonia was well known in the Roma, Texas community where she proudly owned and operated the beloved Maria Antonia Fabric Shop for many years. Later in life, she moved to McAllen, Texas where she continued to be surrounded by the family and community she cherished deeply.

She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strong work ethic, and the legacy she leaves behind through the many lives she touched. Maria Antonia's presence brought comfort, wisdom and joy to those who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

Maria Antonia is survived by her loving children, Laura Salinas, Rosie Rios, Gustavo Arce, and Belinda DeBerry, as well as her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor her memory and legacy. She is preceded in death be her beloved oldest son, Alfredo Arce.

Cremation services for Maria Antonia will be provided by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg, Texas.

At the family's request, no public funeral services will be held.
