Maria C. "Mari" Rios Alamo - Maria C. "Mari" Rios, 72, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, November 29, 2015, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Guadalcazar, S.L.P., Mex, she had lived in Alamo most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Venancia Reyes; two brothers, Franco and Francisco Reyes; four sisters, Elena Reyes, Leonor Reyes, Rosa Lozano and Antonia Reyes. Mrs. Rios is survived by her husband Ahui Rios; four children, Ruth, Margarita, Verenice and Sam Rios Jr.; a son in-law, Max Benavides; 9 grandchildren; a brother Eusebio Reyes; a sister, Margarita Reyes; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, Monday, November 30, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10am Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
