It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother and mother, whose extraordinary spirit and resilience have left an indelible mark on our family. Throughout her life, she faced challenges with unwavering strength, always finding humor in the smallest moments and reminding us to cherish each day. Her love was boundless, and every time her grandchildren came to visit, she made it a point to express just how much they meant to her, even sharing her affection with family photographs as if they could hear her words. Her laughter and warmth will forever echo in our hearts. As we remember her, we find solace in the words of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Her faith and love will continue to inspire us as we carry her memory forward.
Ms. Solano LOVED playing loteria, coloring in her mindful coloring books, joking around with anyone and everyone who lent an ear, and "chismear" a little too. She also loved giving her grandkids snacks when they'd visit her.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m., prayer service on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Garden in Mission.
