Maria Zamora

Edinburg- Maria S. Zamora, born on February 17, 1948 in Mexico, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Delfina Silva. She is survived by her husband, Cesar Zamora, Sr., children; Cesar (Carmen) Zamora, Jr., Eliza (Danny) Morales, Orlando (Monica) Zamora, Lorena (Oscar) Benavidez; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and siblings; Angelina Villarreal, Aurora Garcia, Pavis Matus, Lupita Delgado, Alicia Tamez, Olga Garcia, Alfonso Silva, and Omar Silva. Visitation will be today, September 23, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. Funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Life Ministries Church, 2919 N. Closner Rd., in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
