Maria I Zarate

Alton - Maria I Zarate, 59, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Alton. Mrs. Zarate was preceded in death by her husband, Matias Zarate; parents, Basilio Alvarado and Paula Trevino; one sibling, Maria Antonia Diaz.

Mrs. Zarate is survived by his three children, Mason Zarate, Mathew Zarate, and Myhra Zarate; one sibling, Basilio Alvarado; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Monday, January  5, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
