Maria Luisa Gomez

PHARR - Maria Luisa Gomez, 69, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 8, 2024, in Edinburg, Texas. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her father, Julio Arteaga; her brother, Francisco Arteaga.

Mrs. Gomez is survived by her husband, Francisco Gomez; three children, Yvonne (Rolando) Rios, Sandra (Enrique Jr.) Sanchez, and Cynthia (Diego) Xiap; six grandchildren, Vanessa (Mitchell), Rolando Jr., Rebekah, Enrique III, Estephany, and Sarahi; her mother, Ofelia Arteaga; nine siblings, Mirtha Medina, Jose Luis Arteaga, Carmen Garcia, Julio Arteaga, Patricio Arteaga, Guadalupe Arteaga, Sergio Arteaga, Ofelia Gomez, and Mario Arteaga; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 5 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Friday, January 12, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
