EDINBURG - Martha Laura Ochoa, 60, went to her eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Martha fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith (II Timothy 4:7).
Mrs. Ochoa is survived by her husband, Rigoberto Ochoa; three children, Deldy (Rigoberto Jr.) Gonzalez, Rigoberto (Imelda) Ochoa Jr., and Guillermo Ochoa; five grandchildren, Alejandro, Leland, McKenzie, Imelie, and Rigoberto III; her parents, Cosme and Amparo Garcia; five siblings, San Juana Patricia Garcia, Julio Cesar Garcia, Cosme Garcia Jr., Alma Delicia Garcia, and Edgar Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
