EDINBURG - Mauro Gonzalez, 91, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Edinburg.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Lydia A. Gonzalez; six children, Alfonso (Cecilia) Gonzalez, Aracelia (Rogelio) Salcido, Abelardo (Odilia) Gonzalez, Adriana (Ricardo) Salazar, Artemio (Mariana) Gonzalez, and Mauro (Elizabeth) Gonzalez; 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; a sister Genoveva Gonzalez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapel in Edinburg.
