Maxine Garza Martinez

MCALLEN- Maxine Garza., 82, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Ms. Garza is preceded in death by her parents, Lizandro Garza and Esther Escochea.

Ms. Garza is survived by her four children, Maxine Guerra, Norma N. (Tomas+) Torres, Ramon (Aydee) Guerra Jr., and Claudia Garza; fifteen grandchildren, Regan Rodriguez, Jillian Rodriguez, Steven Rodriguez, Mario Mireles, Noe (Jenna) Mireles, Nestor (Jaime) Lemus Jr., Ulysses, Lemus, Saul (Carliss) Almanza, Issac Almanza, Jaziel (Kelly) Guerra, Nayeli ( Andrew) De Los Santos, Noemi (Cesar) Madrid, Nickolas (Felicitcy) Alvarez, Adrianna Flores, and Carlos Flores; thirty seven great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; two siblings, Minerva G Estrada and Lizandro Garza; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7p.m. prayer service Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
