EDINBURG- Miguel Chavez, 76, entered eternal rest on Wednesday October 28, 2026 in Edinburg. Mr. Chavez is preceded in death by his parents, Gregoria Hernandez Ledesma, and Felix Chavez Sr.; one daughter, Katherine Hearns(Abilene, Tx); four siblings, Joe Louis Chavez(Abilene, Tx), Rudy Chavez(GrandPrairie, Tx), Rito Chavez (Okolong, Ms), and Johnny Chavez(Fort Worth, Tx).

Mr. Chavez is survived by his two children, Laura Amador (Edinburg, Tx), and Adam and Annie Chavez (Abilene, Tx); ten grandchildren; three siblings, Anita Sanchez (Abilene, Tx), Felix Chavez Jr. (Abilene, Tx), and Lydia Chavez (Forth Worth, Tx); numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
