Miguel Arturo Martinez

MCALLEN - Miguel Arturo Martinez, 68, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Miguel was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo (Araceli) Martinez, and Lupita Calvillo; his grandparents, whom raised him, Jesus and Adelina F. Martinez.  

Mr. Martinez is survived by his former spouse, Eva Martinez; three children, Miguel Alexis Martinez, Miguel Arturo (Laura) Martinez Jr., Monica Alyssa Martinez; four grandchildren, Mya, Adrian, Susan, and Madisyn; five great-grandchildren, Evan, Malakai, Matthew, Mallory, and Elianna; two sisters, Sandra Calvillo, and Marisol Martinez; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
