Alamo, Texas Obed Matus Escarpulli, 80, of Alamo, Texas slept in the Lord Tuesday, June 08, 2021 surrounded by his family at his residence in Alamo. Obed was born July 26, 1940 Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife, Yolanda Esther Matus; His Children- Obed and Lizette Arlene; Grandchildren- Trey, Oriana, Ostin, Olaf, Oren, Onali, Osman, Orlan, Oriel; His Siblings- Nelly and Violeta. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Spanish Religious Service to be from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Iglesia Central del Valle (Seventh-Day Adventist), 6901 N. Ware Rd., in McAllen. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ministry he founded will be appreciated.
