Ofelia Trevino

SAN JUAN- Ofelia Trevino, 93, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in McAllen. Mrs. Trevino was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Trevino and Aurelia Garcia Trevino; five children, Maria De Jesus, Martha Lydia Moreno, Rodolfo Moreno Jr., Jose Alberto Moreno, and Martin Moreno; four siblings, Gilberto Trevino, Hortencia Garza, Alejandro Trevino, and Reyes Trevino.

Mrs. Trevino is survived by her four children, Sylvia (Rick) Gonzalez, Julia (Roman) Acevedo, Hector Moreno, and Cris (David) Pitt; sixteen grandchildren, Vianey, Jianna, Abel, Jolvae, Ray, Janeitha, Jacob, Tiffany, Karina, Brandon, Dylan, Delitha, Juan, Nick, John Anthony, and Joanna; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2026 at St. John the Baptist in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
