MCALLEN - Ramon Perez., 90, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Edinburg. Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez Perez; grandchild, Christopher G. Perez Portio; parents, Ricardo Perez, and Herminia Lopez; five siblings, Antonio Perez, Jose Perez, Felipe Perez, Maximino Perez, and Lazaro Perez.

Mr. Perez is survived by his six children, Yameida (Eulojio) Medina, Gabriel Perez, Sandra Z. Perez, Maria Elizabeth Perez, Cynthia (Homero) Cisneros, and Melissa (Paul) Forward; four-teen grandchildren, Yanira G. Ochoa, Selina (Arturo) Diaz, Erica (Christopher) Leza, Jessica (Jermaine) Brown, Gabriel II (Roxana) Perez, Aaron (Michelle) Portillo, Bobby Delgado, Amanda (Leonardo Jr.) Tijerina, Christopher Delgado, Stephanie Perez, Jennifer Cisneros, Rolando (Fernanda) Ovalle, Genevieve (Geovanie) Ovalle, and Fedencio Hernandez Jr.; twenty seven great grandchildren, Joseph I. Ochoa-Ortiz, Julian Leza, Addison Leza, Greene Leza, Anaria Leza, Remy Leza, Noah A. Perez-Brown, Aria Portillo, Melody Portillo, Alina Portillo, Zariya Cano, Sophia Mercedes, Cecilian Solis, Karmelo D. Tijerina, D'Angelo D. Tijerina, Nellia elizabeth Tijerina, Bobby Ray Degado, Amy M. Delgado, Christopher V. Delgado, Sirius Delgado, Heiden N. Delgado, Dean jC. Delgado, Hailey Perez, Logan Ramos, Maximiliano Ovalle, Emiliano Ovalle, and Olivia Ovalle; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mcallen, Interment will follow at La Piedad cemetery in Mcallen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
