Rev Juan Carlos Gomez

MCALLEN - Rev. Juan Carlos Gomez, 69, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday October 19, 2025, in Edinburg. Rev Gomez fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith (II Timothy 4:7). Rev Gomez was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Fidelia Gomez.

Rev. Gomez is survived by his wife, Martha Sanchez; two children, Juan Carlos Gomez Jr., and Karla Betsabe Gomez; two siblings, Alma Gomez and Carlos Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
