Ricardo Antonio Flores Mata

EDINBURG - Ricardo Antonio Flores Mata, 69, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Edinburg. Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Flores; three siblings, Juan Pablo Flores, Maria Del Carmen Ramirez, Dionicio Flores.

Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Elida L. Flores; three children, Ricardo A. (Nora) Flores Jr., Maribel Flores, Abraham (Melissa) Flores; eleven grandchildren, Ruth, Ricardo, Ofelia, Emmanuel, Luis, Adelaida, Joslynn, Brianna, Isreal, Abraham, and Ezekiel; two great-grandchildren, Rylee and Javier; six siblings, Jose Luis Flores, Gonzalo Flores, Maria Guadalupe Flores, Reyes Hilda Cortez, Leticia Cantu, and San Juanita Medellin; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
