Pastor Ricardo Javier Garcia Jr.

MCALLEN - Beloved Pastor Ricky passed into heaven on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Although our hearts are saddened and we feel the loss so deeply, he is casting his crowns and worshiping at the throne of our Heavenly Father.

This scripture represents the heart of Pastor Ricky.....

“….because God anointed me.
He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken,
announce freedom to all captives,
pardon all prisoners, and to comfort all who mourn. To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes,
Messages of joy instead sadness”.
Isaiah 61 (paraphrased)

Pastor Garcia is survived by his wife Nikkia Elaine Garcia; two children, Emberly Rose and Drako Saint Garcia; his parents, Ricardo Javier and Norma Aracelia Garcia; six siblings, Richard, Matthew, Steven, Mark, Bryanna and Roman Garcia; four nieces and nephews, Eliseo, Blue, Raelynn and Sofia Garcia; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at The Family Church on 2322 North McColl Road in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions to support Nikki and her children are appreciated. Please make checks payable to The Family Church (TFC) and include Nikki Garcia in the memo section. All proceeds will be directed to her.
