HIDALGO - Ricardo Ortiz, 92, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 23, 2024. Mr. Ortiz is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Ortiz and Francisca Rendon Ortiz; his wife, Graciela Ortiz; his son, Sergio Ortiz.
Mr. Ortiz is survived by his 9 children; Ricardo (San Juana) Ortiz Jr., Yolanda Briones, Olga Ortiz, Alma (Felipe) Ibarra, Jose Mario (Sara) Ortiz, Norma A. Sifuentes, Juan Antonio (Patricia) Ortiz, Esmeralda (Alfonso) Montes, Fide (Kennard) Tsosie; 35 grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Legacy Chapels. Internment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery in Hidalgo.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
