RITA RIOS MCALLEN - Rita Rios, 81, entered eternal rest Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Mrs. Rios was preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas and Antonia Zamora. Mrs. Rios is survived by her husband, Jose Rios; five children, Virginia Rios, Julia Rios Hernandez, Jose Alejandro Rios, Sandra Rios Martinez, and Rita Rios; nine grandchildren, Fernando, Norma (Freddy), Adrian, Daniel, Angel, Manuel, Isahi, Alan, and Noe; two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Edeny; her brother, Francisco Castelan; her sisters, Maria Esther Castelan and Juana Maria Castelan; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. with a 11 a.m. Chapel service on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3601 N. Taylor Rd. Mission, TX. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
