Rita Ugalde Arzate,70, entered etrenal rest on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Rita was born on May 22, 1948 in Mexico to Lazaro and Agustina Arzate. She had lived in Edinburg for most of her life.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents. Rita is survived by her children, Rogelio Barillas, Juan Carlos (Ofelia) Barrillas ,Patricia Barillas, Mauricio (Rosario) Barillas, Maria Antonietta (Roman) Sanchez, Maria de Jesus (Valentin) Martinez, Maria Isabel (Michael) Cano, Maria Teresa Barillas, numerous of grandchildren and extended family.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The recital of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 PM.
Cremation will take palce at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
