EDINBURG - Robert Acosta, 69, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Mr. Acosta was preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro Acosta and Velia Guajardo; 2 siblings, Edward Acosta and Leroy Acosta.

Mr. Acosta is survived by his wife, Maria Acosta; 5 children, Graciela (Marcos) Morales, Tony Roman (Layla) Acosta, Marie Cruz (Francisco) Acosta, Alexandra (Elvis) Acosta and Kassandra (John) Acosta; 11 grandchildren, Geneva Rodriguez, Irvine Acosta, Cecilia Morales, Angel Acosta, Achilles Silva, Esmeralda Acosta, Adalyn Lira, Irving Rodriguez, Scarlett Rodriguez, Luna Acosta and June Gonzalez; 2 great grandchildren, Emma Day and Aniken Miranda; 5 siblings, Belinda Acosta, Margaret Garza, Roger Acosta, Beatrice Acosta and Velia Rosales; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
