Roberto Zepeda Sr.

EDINBURG - Roberto Zepeda Sr., 91, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 22, 2025. Mr. Zepeda was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Zepeda and Aurora Tijerina.

Mr. Zepeda is survived by his wife, Sylvia Cantu Zepeda; six children, Roberto (Mary) Zepeda Jr., Normalynda Zepeda, Alexandra (Ricardo) Z. Gomez, Irma (Willis) Holcomb, Laura Flores, and Delinda Garcia; thirteen grandchildren, Zamaira Zulai Arcos, Zaraya Zuneth Sanchez, Juan Antonio Sanchez Jr., Ashley Nicole Ortega, Braxton Holcomb, Erika Lozano, Eliza Cowen, Emily Finch, Jonathan Flores, Roberto Zepeda III, Alek O. Stryker, Kaitlynn D. Gomez, and Ricardo J. Gomez; thirteen great grandchildren, Alayna Mazikeen Sanchez, Elijah Lee Sanchez, Amari Elunay Sanchez, Charlie T. Zepeda, Noah Lozano, Erik Lozano, Scotty Cowen, Serenity Cowen, Micheal Flores, Dominique Flores, Layla Flores, Zoe Stryker, and Jaxon Ledesma.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
