Romana Valadez

ROMANA VALADEZ MCALLEN - ROMANA VALADEZ, 73, passed away, Friday, December 2, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico she had lived in McAllen most of her life. Mrs. Valadez was preceded death by her husband, Rodolfo Valadez; her parents, Jose Angel and Rita Balandrano; two brothers, Florentino and Alejandro Balandrano. Mrs. Valadez is survived by her children, Jose Rodolfo (Mary Lou) Valadez, Jorge (Mary) Valadez, Ricardo (Juanita) Valadez, Patty (Joe) Cantu, Veronica (Antonio) Ventura, Alma (Daniel) Estrada, Bianca Valadez and Martin (Santana) Cerda; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Faustino Balandrano and Jose Angel Silva; three sisters, Rita Balandrano, Maria De Jesus Castillo and Beatriz Balandrano; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
