Romeo Ureste Sr.

EDINBURG - Romeo Ureste Sr., 61, went to be with our Lord, Friday March 8, 2024, in McAllen. Mr. Ureste was a proud veteran having served his country in the US Army with the 101st Airborne Division, "Screaming Eagle". Romeo was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Josefina Ureste; his siblings, Norma Mares, and Raul Ureste.

Mr. Ureste is survived by his wife, Margarita Ureste; two children, Dora Alyssa Ureste, and Romeo (Gabreilla) Ureste Jr.; his grandson, Ry Ureste; three siblings, Roy Ureste, Ricardo Ureste, and Nora Ramirez; numerous nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday March 11, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 12, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg with full military honors. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
