EDINBURG - Ronaldo Hernandez, 57, went to be with our Lord, Monday October 21, 2019 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Hernandez; his brother, Vance Luis Hernandez.

Ron was a loving, funny, and carefree man. He was a Chef that appreciated the art. A woodsman that loved the outdoors. Ron was a generous man that never asked for anything in return. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

Mr. Hernandez is survived by his father , Valentin Hernandez; by his three children, Jacqueline (Jorge) Garza, Ronald (Dolores Reyna) Hernandez Jr., and Marco Antonio Hernandez; two grandchildren, Leah and Cody; six siblings, Hector (Christina) Hernandez, Heraclio Hernandez, Graciela (David M.D.) Hernandez-Engstrand M.D., Cristela (Eduardo M.D.) Flores M.D., Daniel Saul (Linda) Hernandez, and Linda Lucy Hernandez; his former spouse, Cristina Carrizales; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a 1 p.m. rosary, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
