Ruben Pena

Delmita/Edinburg - Ruben Pena, born on March 30, 1923 in Delmita, Texas, passed away on October 27, 2014 at his residence in Edinburg. Ruben is preceded in death by his parents, Nicanor and Estefana Pena and siblings, Leonel and Leonardo Pena. He leaves behind and caring and devoted wife, Eva P. Pena, and children, Nilda Flores (Ramiro), Abiel R. Pena (Patricia), Omar Pena, Hugo Pena; siblings, Leobaldo Pena (Orfelinda), Raquel Garza, Rebecca Urrea (David), and Rafael Pena and numerous grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 between the hours of five and nine o'clock with a rosary beginning at seven, at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd, in Edinburg. The funeral mass will be at ten o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg and celebrated by Father Jose Lobaton. The interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Following the interment, the family will receive guests for a small reception in the parish hall at Holy Family Catholic Church. The family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg.
