Samuel Tijerina

SAN JUAN - Samuel Tijerina, 74, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 12, 2023, in Edinburg. Mr. Tijerina was preceded in death by his parents, Julio and Herlinda Tijerina.

Mr. Tijerina is survived by his wife, Maria Ordaz Tijerina; five children, Samuel (Michelle) Tijerina Jr., Hazel L. Tijerina, Julio C. (Diana) Tijerina, Efren (Alejandra) Tijerina, and Rosanna L. Tijerina; twenty grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; five siblings, Arnold Tijerina, Zita Tijerina, Jose Tijerina, Alberta Tijerina, and Juan Tijerina; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
