San Juanita A. Guerra

DONNA - SAN JUANITA A. GUERRA, 77, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Donna surrounded by her family. Mrs. Guerra was preceded in death by her parents, Raul Alaniz, and Aurelia Trevino. 

Mrs. Guerra is survived by her husband, Jesus Guerra; seven children, Orelia (Jesus) Tapia, Cayetano (Flor) Guerra, Maria De Jesus (Jackson Martinez) Guerra, Antonia A. (Andres) Granados, Sonia (Oscar) Aguilera, Francisco (Cyndie) Guerra, and Gustavo (Maria) Guerra; twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Maria Alaniz, Nora Alaniz, Javier Ybarra, Yolanda Ybarra, Enrique Ybarra, Carlos Ybarra, Gilberto Ybarra, Martha Ybarra, and Omar Ybarra; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at a later date.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
