EDINBURG - Santiago Torres, 93, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 15, 2026 in McAllen. Mr. Torres is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio Torres, and Maria Lopez; one grandchild, Nathaniel Garza; four siblings, Maria Del Refugio Salinas, Margarita Morin, Pedro Torres, and Apolonio Torres.
Mr. Torres is survived by his spouse, Maria Torres; Veronica (Bobby Garza) Torres, and Santiago Torres Jr.; two grandchildren, Gabriella N. Garza, and Jacob N. Garza; sister Maria Rita Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Saturday, October, 24, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
