SANTOS CORTEZ

MCALLEN- Santos Cortez , 82, entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in McAllen. Mrs . Cortez was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Cortez; parents, Julian Navarro and Anastacia Monjaras.

Mrs. Cortez is survived by five children, Juan Manuel Cortez, Rosario Lopez, Samuel Cortez, Tomas Cortez and Elias Cortez; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Navarro, Sara Navarro and Flora Navarro; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Iglesia Abundancia en Cristo 1215 Foster St. in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Iglesia Abundancia en Cristo in San Juan. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Celestial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
