Valentina R. Delgado

PHARR - Valentina R. Delgado, 72, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Weslaco. Mrs. Delgado was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Isabel Delgado; her parents, Juan Ruiz and Anastacia Alvarado Ruiz, a brother, Jose Angel Ruiz. 

Mrs. Delgado is survived by her seven children, Samuel Delgado, Joel Delgado, Luis David Delgado, Loida Eunice Delgado, Juan Daniel Delgado, Roel Benegas, Judy Bracamontes; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; seven siblings, Maria Lopez, Eunice Guerra, Sara Elia Ruiz, Gloria Moreno, Juan Ruiz, Bernardo Ruiz, and Daniel Ruiz; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
