VELIA GUTIERREZ GARCIA

EDINBURG - Velia Gutierrez Garcia, 56, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ms. Garcia is preceded in death by her father, Esteban Gutierrez Sr.; her brother, Victor Gutierrez Sr.

Ms. Garcia is survived by her three children, Alexandria (Heliodoro) Morales, Esmeralda Garcia, and Francisco Garcia Jr.; her mother, Dominga Gutierrez; four siblings, Esteban Gutierrez Jr., Ernesto (Azalia) Gutierrez, Maximo (Janie) Gutierrez, and Mario (Adriana) Gutierrez; five grandchildren, Esteban, Rosario, Jose, D'layla, and Jesiah; numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
