Veronica Carrillo

MCALLEN - Veronica “Betty/Vero” Casas Carrillo, 61, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Edinburg, Texas surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. Veronica was born on April 9, 1962 in McAllen, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents Victoriano Casas III and Herlinda Casas, daughter Monica Carrillo and two nieces
Victoria Casas and Jasmine Casas.

Veronica had a positive outlook in anticipation of heaven. She was very strong, brave and will never be forgotten.

Ms. Carrillo is survived by her sons, Michael Carrillo, Alfonso Carrillo Jr. (Joanne), Luis Carrillo (Vanessa), and
Victor Daniel Carrillo; siblings, Victoriano Casas IV, Gloria Silva (Luis), Nora Sanchez (Carlos), and David Casas (Dora); numerous nieces and nephews. Veronica’s greatest loves of her life were 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, whom she all adored.

Upon her request private services will be held.

Funeral services are under the direction Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
