Vicente Salinas

Pharr- Vicente Salinas, 42, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 21, 2025. Mr. Salinas is preceded in death by his two children, Analiah Vianey Salinas and Lukas Ahzael Salinas.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife, Karina Torres; son, Aidán Alí Salinas; parents, Jesus Salinas and Elvira Chavana; two siblings, Victorio (Mariela) Salinas III, and Jessica Vanessa Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Vicente was a dedicated father and active presence in his community. He coached youth baseball and basketball and proudly supported his son Aidan's flag football teams, always offering his time, encouragement, and guidance. He took immense pride in being a hands-on dad, never missing a moment to be involved in his son's life. One of Vicente's greatest passions was growing and nurturing citrus fruit plants, a hobby that blossomed into a true calling. He even developed his own soil enrichment formula, which he named Microorganix, a testament to his creativity and commitment to nurturing life in every form.

He took great joy in caring for the plants of friends and family, treating each one with the same gentle dedication he gave his own beloved garden. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
