Our Grandma, Victoria Isaleke Falowo (Mama Isaiah) went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at her family residence in Palmhurst, Texas with her friends and family by her side. Grandma Falowo was born on April 4th, 1935 in Oke-Ora, Nigeria.
Grandma Falowo is preceded in death by her parents, Itanimume & Ojo Ikhile; husband, Joseph I Falowo; 3 children, Comfort, Solomon, & Isaiah Falowo; stepdaughter, Gloria Iroya; 3 brothers, Ojeiku E. Aisiku, Usiualele, and Eseile Ikhile.
Grandma Falowo is survived by her daughter, Irene Eromosele; her husband, Joseph; 4 grandchildren, Ihinosen (Jesse Gutierrez), Ohireime (Iesha), Ohiozele, and Aimaloghi; 2 great-grandchildren, Jaime Ohifeime, and Olohikhua; 2 stepchildren, Patience Faloyo and Dorothy Ojewerei; 4 siblings, Ojeiru, Olohikhua, Alice, and Aigbobo Ikhile; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Grandma Falowo was well-loved and a mother/grandmother figure to numerous people in her community. She was a prayer warrior who has been called to eternal rest with her Lord and Savior. We love you and will miss you immensely. So, we say so long, not goodbye, Mama Isaiah, Mama, Grandma, and GG. We will meet at the feet of Jesus doing what you loved most: singing, dancing, and praising our Lord and Savior for eternity.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Garden in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapel in Edinburg.
