Yolanda Garza Muñoz

PHARR - Yolanda Garza Muñoz, 82, entered eternal rest on Wednesday June 11, 2025, in McAllen. Mrs. Muñoz was preceded in death by her son, Juan Antonio Muñoz Jr.; her parents, Federico and Beatriz Garza; seven siblings, Maria Ninfa Fontecha, Gilberto Garza, Irma De Anda, Oliverio Garza, Juan Garza, Beancio Garza and Arnoldo Garza. 

Mrs. Muñoz is survived by her husband, Juan Antonio Muñoz; two sons, Fabian (Claudia) Muñoz and Leobardo (Keila) Muñoz; five grandchildren, Fabian, Valeria, Maddison, Emma and Bella; two siblings, Federico Garza Jr. and Ricardo Garza; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Tuesday June 17, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday June 18, 2025, at Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Magic Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
