Yolanda Graciela Sandefer
Mcallen - Yolanda Graciela Sandefer, 77, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Edinburg. Ms. Sandefer is preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Yolanda Cortez; three siblings Lesbia "Abby" Cortez, Federico Cortez II, Marissa "Cookie" Cortez.
Ms. Sandefer is survived by her three children, Joseph Tower (Rebecca) Sandefer, Kevin (Rochelle) Sandefer, and Kenny Sandefer; four grandchildren Lauren, Liam, Leah, and Levi ; three siblings Priscilla Cortez Weiler, Isela Cortez Lopez, and Ib Danelo "Chief" Cortez.
Visitation will be from 3p.m. to 7p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 4p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
